Data Deletion

Revoke Google access, remove credentials, and purge locally cached account data.

Last updated July 23, 2026

Delete an account from Dumka Mail

  1. Open Dumka Mail and go to Settings → Privacy & Security.
  2. Enable “Purge SQLite Cache on Disconnect.” This setting is on by default.
  3. Go to Settings → Accounts & Credentials.
  4. Select “Disconnect” for the Gmail account and confirm the action.

Dumka Mail will attempt to revoke the Google OAuth refresh token, delete the local credential, remove the account, and purge account-scoped messages, threads, labels, contacts, calendar events, drafts, search records, action history, and related local state from the SQLite database.

Revoke access from Google

If the app reports that token revocation failed, or if you no longer have access to the device, open your Google Account's third-party connections page, find Dumka Mail, and remove its access.

Delete all remaining local application data

Disconnect every account with cache purging enabled. Then quit Dumka Mail before removing its application-support directory. On macOS, the current directory is ~/Library/Application Support/dumka-mail. The app may also preserve legacy migration directories from earlier development versions.

Removing local files is permanent. If you need help locating application data on Windows or Linux, use the support page without posting private mailbox content.

Website and support data

This website does not receive Gmail content or OAuth tokens. If you submitted a GitHub issue, comment, or security report, manage or delete that content through GitHub. For a privacy request related to project support, follow the contact process on the support page.
