1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Dumka Mail, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application or website.
2. Early-alpha software
Dumka Mail is early-alpha open-source software. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or contain errors. Keep independent backups and review mailbox actions before approving them.
3. Your accounts and authorization
You are responsible for the Google accounts, AI provider accounts, API keys, and external tools you connect. You authorize Dumka Mail to perform only the actions you request through the permissions you grant. You must comply with the terms of each connected service.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Dumka Mail to:
- Violate applicable law or another person's rights.
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or abusive content.
- Gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Misrepresent your identity or authorization to act.
- Circumvent Google policies, quotas, or security controls.
5. Open-source license
The source code is made available under the MIT License. These Terms govern use of the hosted website and project services; the MIT License governs rights in the source code and copies of the software.
6. Third-party services
Dumka Mail interoperates with services such as Google APIs and optional AI providers. Those services are controlled by third parties and governed by their own terms. Dumka Mail is not responsible for third-party availability, policy changes, outputs, fees, or data practices.
7. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how Dumka Mail accesses, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information, including Google user data.
8. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dumka Mail is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project maintainers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business arising from use of Dumka Mail.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to your use of Dumka Mail, are governed by the laws applicable at the maintainer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules — except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country of residence grant you stronger rights, which continue to apply.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and the maintainer will make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute informally through the contact channels on the support page.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
12. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the maintainer regarding the hosted website and project services, and supersede any prior understanding on that subject. The MIT License separately governs your rights in the source code.
13. Changes and contact
